I am a very detail oriented person who wanted her fingers in every aspect of our wedding planning process so when we came across Alan and Angela’s DJ service, it was a great fit to see their attention to detail and excellence. There’s a whole art when it comes to being an excellent DJ that requires more than having a large selection of music and pressing “Play”. I wanted someone who knew how to read the crowd well to know when to play an upbeat or a slower song, someone who would take into consideration types of music we did or did not want played at the reception and had a pleasant and fun personality to work with.
Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Lone Summit Ranch and so we were also looking for someone to run the sound during the ceremony. Our ceremony was very technically challenging as far as the ideas we had dreamed up and it was a joy to work with both Alan and Angela as we worked through how to make it all possible. We had live music for the prelude, a soundtrack for the processional, immediately followed by an intro video of our Love Story on their 42” plasma screen and later showed a photo montage of baby pictures after the giving of the bride. Both my youth pastor and Dad had lapel mics for the service, there was a vocalist, violinist and pianist for special music and Alan even “conspired” with my husband and slipped him a cordless mic at one point so he could surprise me and sing without me knowing anything was going on. Even though I had asked a lot of them with so many technically challenging requests with the multiple inputs, mics, videos, etc., every transition and cue were flawless.
During the receiving line, Alan was able to move the 42” screen to a more central location in the reception area to show our dating photo montage as people mingled and waited for the meal to begin.
The reception and dance was an absolute blast! The music selection was great and the pace flowed smoothly leaving no awkward moments or weak transitions throughout the evening. I enjoyed that Alan even got out on the dance floor with all of us during the Electric Slide. We were having so much fun we didn’t want to leave at the end of the night.
It really impressed me that they were willing to go the extra mile in finding a song we wanted for the mother/son dance. We had listened to a song online but couldn’t find it anywhere to purchase and they took it upon themselves to find the song and surprised us as the wedding by playing it during the groom’s dance with his mom. It was a really special time for them and the song was very meaningful.
Overall, I would highly recommend Alan and Angela as an affordable and excellent DJ service who know how to help create an evening of wonderful lasting memories.

I wanted to thank you both for playing such a huge part in the happiest day of our lives! You both just went above and beyond...I can't express to you how much it meant to me that you both helped organize the rehearsal,and the seating charts! It was completely my fault because I did not have it well organized, but you both just stepped in an offered a helping hand! The reception was absolutely incredible You even had my 84 year old Grandpa swinging all the ladies around! Oh, and lets not forget our surprise... the amazing fireworks display! You both are awesome people and DJs. We were glad to share our day with you both! I am sure we will see you at future weddings of friends and family.

Hi!
I just wanted to drop you a note. You made our wedding reception! Don't know if you knew, but our caterer severely screwed up! She didn't decorate anything the way it was suppose to be, the cake was on the wrong side of the tent, the food stunk, the punch wasn't made on time, the champagne fountain wasn't filled when we walked in, the fans weren't put in the right place, etc. etc. We know you helped set up and appreciate all of your help. Anyway, if it wouldn't have been for your great personality and fabulous musical entertainment, the whole thing would have ended at 7pm. On a sad note, my father passed away on the 21st, but I'm glad he got to be at our wedding. Anyway, if we ever throw a party again, you're the first one we're calling!

did as our wedding DJ (May 19). You were funny, enthusiastic, and because
of you, everyone had a great time dancing and celebrating with us. And you
